UberEats Competition

  1. These terms apply to the Uber Eats voucher promotion whereby customers purchasing certain insurance policies will be entered into a draw for a chance to win one of five £100 Uber Eats online vouchers.
  2. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
  3. Upon purchase of a qualifying life insurance or serious illness insurance policy and once the first payment for your policy has been received, you will be automatically entered into the prize draw.
  4. One entry per person is permitted.
  5. The opening date for entries is 12:01am on 21st October 2024. The closing date of the prize draw is 11:59pm on 10th December 2024. Insurance policies taken out after this time will not eligible for the draw.
  6. If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when purchasing online, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete purchases and any incomplete purchases will not be considered valid for entry into the prize draw. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any purchases which are not completed for any reason.
  7. 5 winners will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on Friday 13th December 2024 (“Draw Date”).
  8. The winners will each receive a £100 Uber Eats Voucher which shall be redeemable online via the winner’s Uber Eats account. 
  9. The winner will be notified by email or telephone (using details provided at entry) before 17th December 2024. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 30 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  10. Winners will have to claim their prize by redeeming a voucher code provided by the Promotor in their Uber Eats account. The Promotor will send instructions to Winners on how they can redeem their prize.
  11. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. 
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so. 
  13. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. 
  14. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who emails hello@tom.co.uk within one month after the closing date stated in condition 5. If you object to any or all of your surname, county being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at  hello@tom.co.uk In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  15. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. 
  16. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  17. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  18. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter’s https://www.tom.co.uk/privacy/ See also paragraph 14 with regard to the announcement of winners.
  19. These terms and conditions and this promotion are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the courts in the United Kingdom. 

Tom & Matchroom Ticket St David’s Promotion – Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of Terms : Entry to this promotion shall constitute your acceptance of these terms and conditions and your agreement to be bound by them. These terms and conditions take effect immediately upon entry to the promotion. These terms and conditions prevail in the event of a conflict or inconsistency with any other communication, including advertising or promotional materials.


Promoter: This promotion is operated by Candid Insurance Services Ltd trading as Tom and Tom.co.uk, us, we, 920 Hempton Court, Aztec West, West Almondsbury, Bristol, BS32 4SR, United Kingdom


Opening and closing dates: The promotion will start on the 7th March 2025 and conclude on the 10th March 2025.

  1. Eligibility 1.2 Participants must be 18 years or older. 1.3 Participants must be residents of the United Kingdom. 1.4 Employees of Tom, Matchroom, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  2. How to Enter 2.1 Participants must enter the promotion by entering their contact details into a form. Participants will then throw three velcro darts at an inflatable dartboard. If they score higher than 100, their score will be recorded. Participants can only enter once throughout the event.
  3. Prize Details 3.1 Winners will receive a maximum of two (2) tickets to an available Matchroom event. 3.2 Available events are subject to ticket availability and will be determined by Tom and Matchroom. 3.3 A Tom representative may accompany winners at the event. 3.4 Tom may record content at the event for marketing purposes, and winners may be featured in such content.
  4. Winner Notification and Claiming the Prize 4.1 Winners will be contacted by a member of the Tom customer experience team within one (1) day of winning. 4.2 Winners must answer at least one of the calls made by the Tom team within the day. 4.3 Tom will attempt to call the winner up to three (3) times during the notification period. 4.4 Email notifications will also be sent to winners. 4.5 If a winner does not respond within the one-day period, the prize will be forfeited and reallocated.
  5. General Terms 5.1 Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives and not for resale. 5.2 Tom and Matchroom are not responsible for any additional costs incurred by winners, including but not limited to travel and accommodation. 5.3 Tom reserves the right to amend or cancel the promotion at any time without prior notice. 5.4 By participating in the promotion, winners agree to Tom using their name, image, and footage gathered at the event for promotional purposes without additional compensation. We accept no responsibility for prizes that are lost, stolen or unused by their expiry date.
    We may also, in our sole discretion (i) disqualify any entrant or winner who breaches these rules, has acted fraudulently in any way or brings either Clark UK or Matchroom into disrepute, or (ii) disqualify any entrant or winner, withdraw or substitute any prize should an entrant winner or guest at the event display inappropriate or dangerous behaviour.
    Use of tickets is subject to additional terms and conditions of the ticket issuer, event organiser or other third party.
    Winner List: We reserve the right to refer to the winner publicly by their first name and location that we have on record.
  6. Privacy and Data Protection 6.1 By entering this promotion, you agree to us collecting and using your personal data. We, and any third-party agencies acting on our behalf, may collect personal information from you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable data privacy laws. Your information will only be used for the purposes of administering this promotion. Any personal data collected during the promotion will be processed in accordance with Tom’s privacy policy, a copy of which can be accessed on our website. 6.2 Contact details will only be used for the purposes of administering the promotion unless otherwise agreed by the participant.
    Decision of the Promoter: If there is any dispute about the receipt or validity of any prize or any other aspect of the promotion, this will be decided by us. Our decision regarding any aspect of the promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. We are not responsible for any third-party acts or omissions. We reserve the right to cancel or amend this promotion due to events or circumstances arising beyond our control.
    Limitation of Liability: We exclude all conditions, warranties and representations express or implied by law or otherwise in connection with the prize and the promotion to the fullest extent permitted by law. We shall be under no liability whatsoever or howsoever arising in connection with any loss, damage or injury, directly or indirectly occurring as a result of the provision of, or use of, the prize.
  7. Governing Law 7.1 These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales if any dispute arises.

Tom & Matchroom Ticket Email Promotion – Terms and Conditions

How to Enter 2.1 Participants must enter the promotion via the link in the email and completing the dedicated promotion form on Tom.co.uk. 2.3 If a participant selects the correct answer to the competition question, they will enter a random drawer to win the determined prize. The prize will be displayed on the landing page and on the entry form. Prizes include but are not limited to: tickets to a predetermined Matchroom event or signed memorabilia. 

3. Prize Details 3.1 Winners could receive a maximum of two (2) tickets to an available Matchroom event. 3.2 Available events are subject to ticket availability and will be determined by Tom and Matchroom. 3.3 A Tom representative may accompany winners at the event. 3.4 Tom may record content at the event for marketing purposes, and winners may be featured in such content.
